10-Minute Edibles

How to Make 10-Minute Edibles

Don’t let using a double boiler scare you! The 10-Minute Edible is an easy way to whip out a bunch of edibles in no time, without the fear of burning your medicine or the chocolate.

Total Time Needed: 10 minutes

Required Tools:

- Double boiler or pot with bowl
- Coffee mug
- Kitchen scale
- Spatula
- Spoon
- Candy molds

Ingredients Needed

- 1g Concentrate of your choice (we are using VidaCann’s indica distillate syringe))
- Ghirardelli dark chocolate melts
- Pinch sunflower lecithin (optional)
- Flavored extract (optional - mint works well to disguise the cannabis flavor)

The Process

Step 1: Add water to double boiler
Add water to your double boiler, place it on the burner, and set the stove to low.
Step 2: Weigh out chocolate
While the water is heating, weigh out your chocolate, place them in the top pot, and place it on the bottom of the double boiler. Allow the water to heat up but do not boil.
Step 3: Heat distillate
Meanwhile, put some water in a coffee mug and heat it in the microwave for about a minute. Then add the distillate syringe. Allow to sit for a few minutes.
Step 4: Stir
When the chocolate begins to melt, stir until it is completely melted and smooth.
Step 5: Add lecithin
Add a pinch of sunflower lecithin and mix well.
Step 6: Add concentrate
Remove the syringe from the hot water and carefully add it to the chocolate. Caution: It may squirt out fast!
Step 7: Mix
Mix thoroughly.
Step 8: Tare mold
Take your kitchen scale and put your mold on it. Hit the tare button to zero it out.
Step 9: Chill
Using a teaspoon, gently spoon the chocolate into the first mold compartment. Stop when you reach the desired weight of the candy. Push tare and continue with each compartment until finished.
Step 10: Chill
Place in refrigerator for about 15 minutes or until solid.
Step 11: Store and enjoy
Store in the refrigerator in an air-tight container or in a cool, dry place on the counter.
